Membership
We welcome new members to our friendly musical theatre company, whether you want to perform on stage, would like to assist with a wide range of back-stage roles or take part in our social events.

Behind the scenes
Acting, singing and dancing is only half of the story. The Sainsbury Singers also relies heavily on a keen team of people working behind the scenes and front of house to stage musical theatre.
Rehearsals
The Sainsbury Singers rehearses at the Grange United Reformed Church hall in Southcote, Reading. We usually rehearse on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:30pm.
Hire us for your event
The Sainsbury Singers is able to provide musical entertainment for your event or celebration, with anything from a quartet to a concert party of up to 12 or more performers.
Frank Sainsbury 1891-1963
Frank Sainsbury was a well respected singer and musical teacher who founded The Sainsbury Singers in 1938. He and his wife Kathleen laid the foundations for 75 years of musical theatre success.
