Kidz Alive!
Kidz Alive! is a Childrens’ Theatre Group based in Reading, Berkshire, with members aged from 6-15 years.
The main aim is for children to have fun, and at the same time gain in confidence. We meet in Grange United Reformed Church Hall, Southcote, on a Saturday afternoon from 1.45pm-4.30pm. We do not meet every Saturday, but dates are always booked well in advance.
The cost for membership is £25 a term. The children enjoy singing, movement, and theatre workshops.
This term the children will be learning more about stage make-up, and having a go themselves.
The children work towards performing for parents, family and friends at an open afternoon, usually in June or July. There is also a Kidz! Alive party each Christmas.

Kidz Alive! puppet make-up session
For one of the workshops the children were shown how to do a "puppet" make-up, and then had a go themselves. They started to learn a String puppet routine, to the music, The Entertainer, with the older children as puppeteers, and the younger ones as the puppets.
